ETS provides solutions to structural problems based on a good blend of knowledge of machine design, materials, structural dynamics and stress analysis. Tools and experience provide the ability to accurately measure static and dynamic stresses providing a true assessment of the state of stress in a structural element. Measurements are made on existing field installations or on prototypes in the lab which often times are difficult to model (particularly for inertial loading). Strain gauge measurements accurately identify static and dynamic stresses of complex geometries. Because it is a direct measure, they provide a high degree of accuracy taking into consideration both linear and non-linear modes.
