Analysis based primarily on displacement measurements of rotating shafts identifies modes, critical speed, response of the supporting structure, and the condition/behavior of the bearing system. Analysis has been completed on motors, generators, steam turbines, and gear boxes including correlation of experimental results to finite element models (Ansys and XL Rotor).
